Watched from outside
Every live site is checked from outside our servers every 10 minutes, including whether its security certificate is about to expire. A failed check alerts the people on call.
Watched from inside
An agent on each server reports disk space, memory, load, running services and backups every minute, and raises an alert before a server runs short.
Backups
The database and your site’s pictures are backed up every night and kept on the server for quick restores. Encrypted copies are sent off the server and kept for 30 days and 12 months.
Restores are tested
Once a month a backup is restored from the off-server copies and checked, so we know a restore works before we ever need one.
If something is wrong
If your site is down or slow, message us on WhatsApp or by email. We reply with what we know and tell you when it is fixed.
